Hi, let’s tell you a little about Derbyshire RoSPA Riders. We are a RoSPA group situated in the county of Derbyshire which exists to share advanced motorcycling skills and knowledge with likeminded people.
All our members are keen motorcyclists and all have different levels of experience. We have novice riders looking to improve their riding skills and more experienced riders who merely want to maintain their skills as advanced riders.
The group also exists to enhance the enjoyment of motorcycling, so please watch the short video below which will explain more to you.

Our Mission & Vision
Our mision is to aid and assist mlotorcyclists in Derbyshire to become safer riders.
We will do this by offering advanced training and coaching to willing associates who wish to improve their skills and thereby their safety on the road.
Our vision is to see as many motorcyclists in the county become RoSPA members and take advantage of the training and enjoyment we offer.
Why Join RoSPA?
By looking at this website we guess you are interested in joining an organisation that has your safety as its core principle.
We all love motorcycling but some do not see the benefits of advanced training to improve safety and their motorcycling enjoyment. RoSPA can be the platform to launch your motorcycling skills to a higher level, so why not join your local group in Derbyshire and meet like minded people.
When you join the group you will be allocated one of our tutors who will be your coach whilst in training. All our tutors are very experienced and hold a Gold Standard RoSPA qualification. Some also hold advanced tutor status.
Every month we meet to give members the opportunity to get together and to discuss all things motorcycling. There are presentations of a wide variety of aspects and also some guest speakers from the motorcycling field.
We meet at The Clock Warehouse, Shardlow, Derbyshire at 7.15 on the 2nd Monday of each month.
Every month one of our tutors or an experienced rider will lead a group ride out. Following a terrific route for motorcycles we can ride as far afield as The Elan Valley or as close as Matlock for terrific fish and chips.
Rideouts are a great way to meet like-minded people in the group and also enjoy a social occassion.
This has become a popular event for existing and prospective memnbers who want to improve their bike handling skills at slow speed.
Held at Darley Moor Sports Club we give practical instruction on how to control and handle your bike at slower speeds.
Come along to these events and enjoy the day with us at this great venue.

Group Nights
We meet every month at 7.15pm on the 2nd Monday at The Clock Warehouse, Shardlow. Its a great venue and opportunity for all members to get together and talk motorcycling!
Personal Coaching
Once you become a member you will be allocated a tutor who will be your coach during your training period. He/she will take you through all you need to know about advanced riding ready for your RoSPA Test
